ok i did not really have alot of time since i was back from my holiday to journal on my trip, this time round i went 3 places, italy first followed by switzerland and the best for last paris.

italy was really amazing, the structure and architecture of it all was simple Astounding!!!! every statue and paintings are so detailed. i went to pay a visit to the pope at saint peter's square in the vatican city as well as battle a Gladiator at the Colosseum.

At pisa, the famous leaning tower, the beautiful tour guide had the pleasure of telling us that every building in that place was actually leaning and not only that tower. after that we went down to florance. florance was very very pretty, cool air and the streets looked very different from singapore.

Venice was exactly the last four letters of the word itself...or even more. i managed to get on a gondola which is another name for water-taxi as the young italian man who claims to be 40 but only looks 25 row us throughout the city. i told myself next time when i were to get married, this would definitely be the place where i would want my wedding shots to be shot at. floods are common and the highest it ever went was above ankle's length if you were to be standing on the street. venice was the coldest and the standard of living is ridiculous, a bottle of coke can cost u 8euros, which is 16 sing dollars. oh boy!

italy overall was just breathtaking, the north and south italians look rather different. my coach driver was from napoli and he really looked, spoke and behaved like a mafia. he rarely smiles and often makes noise if we did not follow instructions.

after that we proceed on a 6plus hour journey to switzerland to see clear skies and ice mountains. Jungfrau was cancelled as there was a snow storm that morning but we managed to climb MT Titles which was just 500 metres shorter. Interlaken was the place where i stayed and there was this lovely old couple who owned a shop where i bought many stuff from. they happened to travel to singapore once during their younger days so we had a chat about the difference. the handmade clocks and toys were world class marksmanship. after that we had dinner at this really really fun and whacky place called bebbis. if u were to be at interlaken please visit the owner of the restaurant. he is well-built, hilarious and just makes you feel at home. interlaken- a great place to retire :D

after afew days in switzerland it was time to take a 10hour coach ride to PARIS. in paris, couples are kissing everywhere and the history of the place is just so vivid. in france, the art pieces that they keep happen to come from different parts of the world such as Greece, Italy and even Egypt. i went to the eiffel tower and that night it was blue in colour. i was also at the touch where the accident that princess diana had been in took place. the glass pyramid where the da vinci code was filmed and versailles and notre dame was really crowded but it was worth the wait as the art pieces was really top notch. i have never seen such beautiful work of the hand before in my life. the best of paris was still shopping at the champs Elysees, it's the most expensive and famous shopping street in the whole of europe. the LV there is a 3 level high building where u can most likely get the design that you want. if you are there you have to catch the moulin rouge. it is splendid and the costume and play is just so enjoyable. however it cost 125euros, which is the most expensive play i have ever watched....but worth every cent of it.

i could not bear to leave europe, it is such a lovely place. The cost of living is really high, a decent meal in a restaurant can cost you around 60euros, it is cheap but do not forget about the exchange rate, it is 2 times. the only cheap things you can get over there is LV among all the branded stuff. if you have the time, please visit there.
